Fund structure
European region
IQ Security Fund is a boutique digital-asset management company. In our main format the capital never leaves the client: the exchange account stays in their name and we trade it by API. For the European region there is a second route — a fund structure, and this page is about how it is set up.
What it is
- Czech fund.
- Units are issued and redeemed at NAV, once a quarter.
- The same algorithmic strategy that runs on separate accounts: trend-following components on BTC and ETH with volatility control.
Terms
- Management fee
- 2% per year
- Performance fee
- 25%
- High-water mark
- performance fee is charged only above the account's previous peak — never twice for the same result
- Liquidity
- quarterly, at NAV
How this differs from your own account
Own account (API)
capital stays on your exchange account, in and out at any time, 0% management fee, up to 30% performance fee
Fund units (EU)
capital sits in the fund structure, quarterly liquidity at NAV, 2% management fee, 25% performance fee
What we do not have
- no independent audit
- no institutional licence
- legal restrictions apply in some jurisdictions
- a highly volatile asset class
We name these upfront rather than let them surface later. What compensates for them is process: a formalised investment process, risk governance and a full fact-sheet behind every performance figure.
